Here he is head up and looking rather pleased with himself !...even though the plate is empty at the moment... we are thinking of Greedy Goose things to eat, to add to the plate.

 When feeding or displaying Geese can make amazing shapes with their necks,

The geese are pairing and nesting, and starting to moult... but we have some good images of their body shape, necks faces and feet.

This is great - almost the exact position for the Greedy Goose's foot on the plate !

Just to show the Goose can put its neck into a very swan-like pose... but look at the shape of the beak, and presence of feathers betweeen the bill and the eye. Also note the characteristic shape of some of the feathers on the neck as this Goose poses.
